  3. Good to know

Plenty of teams, studios and open source projects coordinate their work in Discord. Connect a bot to Rocketeers and the important events from your servers and sites show up in the channels your team already reads, so nobody has to keep a dashboard open.

What you get with Discord

  • Deployment alerts when a deploy starts, succeeds or fails.
  • Uptime alerts when a site goes down and when it recovers.
  • Incident updates as they are opened and resolved.
  • Server load warnings before a busy server becomes a slow one.
  • Updates from AI agents and from crawls of your sites.

How the integration works

Create an application in the Discord Developer Portal, add a bot to it and copy the bot token. Invite the bot to your server with permission to send messages in the channels you want to use, then add the token to Rocketeers. Pick which channel receives which alerts, and Rocketeers posts messages through the Discord API whenever one of those events happens.

Good to know

  • Send deployments to one channel and uptime or incident alerts to another, so urgent messages do not drown in routine ones.
  • The bot only needs to send messages. It does not read your channels.
  • Reset the bot token in the Developer Portal at any time and update it in Rocketeers.

Discord stays your account, on your bill. Rocketeers, the control panel for your own cloud, connects to it with your own credentials.
