DNSimple is a DNS provider and registrar built with developers in mind, with a clean API and a focus on doing domains well. If your zones already live there, Rocketeers can manage the records directly, so connecting a new site to its domain does not mean a trip to another dashboard.

#How the integration works

In DNSimple, open your account settings, create an account API access token and note your account ID. Add both to Rocketeers. Rocketeers then uses the DNSimple API to list the zones in that account and to read and write records whenever you add a site, move it to another server or change a record by hand. Changes take effect at DNSimple straight away, exactly as if you made them in its own dashboard.

#Good to know

• Use an account token rather than a user token, so access is tied to the account and not to one person.
• Rocketeers manages DNS records at DNSimple. Domain registrations and renewals stay in your DNSimple account.
• DNSimple bills you directly. Rocketeers never resells DNS or domains.
