Gemini is Google's family of AI models, and the Gemini CLI brings it to the command line as a coding agent. Connect your own Google sign in to Rocketeers and Gemini can take on coding tasks in your repositories alongside your team.

What you get with Gemini

  • The Gemini CLI agent running inside Rocketeers.
  • Agents that work on a branch of your repository and open a pull request for review.
  • Usage on your own Google account.
  • The same review flow as any other change: nothing is merged without your team.

How the integration works

On a machine where the Gemini CLI is installed, start gemini, choose Login with Google and quit with /quit once you are signed in. Then print the credentials with cat ~/.gemini/oauth_creds.json and paste the JSON into Rocketeers. When you give an agent a task, Rocketeers runs the Gemini CLI with those credentials in an isolated environment with a copy of your repository, and opens a pull request through your connected source control provider when the work is done.

Good to know

  • The credentials belong to your Google account, so usage follows that account's Gemini limits.
  • Remove access from your Google account security settings at any time.
  • Google bills any paid usage directly. Rocketeers never resells AI usage.

Gemini stays your account, on your bill. Rocketeers, the control panel for your own cloud, connects to it with your own credentials.
