PostHog is an open source product analytics platform that tracks how people use your product, along with tools such as session replay and feature flags. Rocketeers connects to your PostHog account and reads usage data into analytics projects, so traffic and engagement show up next to the sites they belong to.

#What you get with PostHog

• PostHog projects linked to analytics projects in Rocketeers.
• Product usage read from PostHog and shown next to your sites.
• Support for PostHog Cloud in the US or EU, and for self hosted instances.
• Read only access: Rocketeers never changes anything in PostHog.

#How the integration works

In PostHog, open your personal settings and create a personal API key with read access to projects and queries. Add the key to Rocketeers, together with your PostHog host if you use the EU cloud or host PostHog yourself. Rocketeers then reads your projects and queries usage data through the PostHog API to fill the analytics project for each site.

#Good to know

• Keep the key limited to project read and query read. Rocketeers needs nothing more.
• Data stays in PostHog. Rocketeers reads what it shows and does not export your raw events.
• PostHog bills you directly. Rocketeers never resells analytics.
