Postmark
Reliable transactional email, set up in minutes.
Sending domains created, verified and monitored, with activity and stats.
Postmark is built for transactional email: password resets, receipts and notifications that need to arrive quickly. Its focus on deliverability has made it a favourite with developers. Rocketeers connects to your Postmark account so the tedious part of adding a sending domain is done for you.
What you get with Postmark
- Sending domains created from Rocketeers.
- The DNS records each domain needs shown in Rocketeers, and added for you when the domain uses a DNS provider you connected.
- Verification triggered and tracked from the same screen.
- Activity and sending statistics for your domains, without opening another dashboard.
How the integration works
In Postmark, open your account settings, go to API Tokens and copy the account API token. Add it to Rocketeers. When you add a sending domain, Rocketeers creates it through the Postmark API, fetches the DKIM and return path records and adds them to your DNS when the domain lives at a connected provider. It then asks Postmark to verify the domain, and afterwards shows sending activity and statistics next to your sites.
Good to know
- Use the account API token, not a server token, since domains are managed at account level in Postmark.
- Postmark bills you directly for the email you send. Rocketeers never resells email.
Postmark stays your account, on your bill. Rocketeers, the control panel for your own cloud, connects to it with your own credentials.
