Vultr runs cloud compute in a wide range of locations across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and beyond, which makes it easy to place a server close to the people who use it. Rocketeers connects to your Vultr account and turns a fresh instance into a production server you never have to configure by hand.

• A wide choice of locations and plans, from small instances for staging to larger machines for busy sites.
• A complete stack with web server, PHP, database and firewall installed and maintained for you.
• Deployments, monitoring and updates in the same dashboard as your other servers.

#How the integration works

Enable API access in the Vultr Customer Portal, copy the API key and add it to Rocketeers. If you restrict API access by IP address, allow Rocketeers to connect. Rocketeers then creates instances through the Vultr API, adds your SSH keys, configures the firewall and installs the stack. From then on, Rocketeers handles deployments and maintenance, while the instance stays visible in your Vultr dashboard.

#Good to know

• Vultr has a single API key per user. Create a dedicated user in your Vultr account if you want a key just for Rocketeers.
• Vultr bills you directly for instances and bandwidth. Rocketeers never resells servers.
